Signs & Wires

With this series, I made work that transforms signs, electric wires, and obstructive vernacular architecture out of its ordinary context. By exploring different angles and taking objects out of their original context, I turn them into unique abstract compositions. The bold, graphic and high contrast photographs depict the urban experience in an unexpectedly abstract expressionist manner. City parts turn into what could easily be mistaken as black and white brush strokes or ink blots.
